Happiness Project

Did you know that Pam's book (well, she didn't write it) has a website and blog? I have been enjoying it immensely! And, if you use the igoogle feature on your computer, you can get an RSS feed directly to it and then click the links for ease of use.

My favorite post so far was this: http://www.happiness-project.com/happiness_project/2010/02/nineteen-tips-for-cheering-yourself-up-from-200-years-ago.html

It's 200 years old and so true!

Love!

Alright!

I guess commenting on each post is not going to count as participation then? Oh well.

I just started The Gastronomical Me by MFK Fisher. It's promising to be just my cup of tea! Just the first sentence makes me happy. She writes "The first thing I remember tasting and then wanting to taste again was the grayish-pink fuzz my grandmother skimmed from a spitting kettle of strawberry jam. I suppose I was about four." Love it.

Gimmee my 5000 points!!!!

Hoorah!
I am reading the inside cover of the new book I bought called The Happiness Project Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun. I gave myself credit for reading a chapter worth by just reading the title and subtitle! I chose it because, well, I'm looking for a better attitude...

5000 points to the first person who posts

I am awarding 5000 points to the first person who adds a blog entry to the site. Don't be shy! do it!

Whatcha reading?

I've started The End of Overeating: Taking Control of the Insatiable American Appetite. by Kessler.

I want to read something funny, uplifting and terribly entertaining. I want to read something that has characters to adore.

My Aunt Connie has written a book called Spire of Kylet and I adored those characters. I'm waiting on the third book in that trilogy.

What about you? What do you recommend?
